Manufacturing Consent: The Political Economy of the Mass Media by Edward S. Herman, Noam Chomsky

medium-paced

4.0

As a non-american born years after the events being analysed in here, I found it sometimes difficult to follow. I think that reading this book and having lived through those periods would be so rich and eye opening. It is quite an in-depth look which I love, but it also makes it a bit repetitious at times. The importance of this text is obvious to anyone who reads it, and the awarness it brings is the first step for a potential systematic change.
