What She Saw by Diane Saxon

3.0

The very beginning of this book was the actual crime, so you know the whole book what happens. You're just waiting for the police to catch up to what you know and for the end to see how it's going to finish. The middle felt like a lot of waiting. There was a ton of details in the middle that ended up not mattering at all. I know it's part of a series, so maybe the next book focuses on some of those details, I don't know. The lack of police work related to this case bothered me. If a whole family is killed in what you can tell is an arson, wouldn't you investigate them? Like, even a little? The police just ignored this case until the very end. They didn't bother looking into the family or anything. I liked it, but the middle felt long waiting for something we didn't already know about.
