Notes from a Small Island by Bill Bryson

3.0

When Bill Bryson decided to move back home to the United States, he takes one more ride around the country he called home for 20 plus years, and takes his readers along.

He tells stories of his travels, speaks of specific locations, historical sites, and the people.
And while the idea is good and kind of "his thing", this wasn't the easiest book to get through.

While in the end, I did enjoy this book as a whole. It wasn't an overly engaging book. Definitely would be more enjoyable had I been more familiar with the locations, unfortunately my visit to the UK did not especially aid in my understanding, or ability to relate and appreciate  this book.
