Irish by Brittanée Nicole
5.0
“Irish” is a small town romantic suspense novel by Brittanee Nicole, and I thought it was an absolutely amazing read. Frank and Ellie’s relationship had so much depth, and I loved that Frank made it a point to get to know and earn the trust of Ellie’s kids, Lorenzo and Leo. He was kindhearted and sweet, but also gave off alphahole vibes at times, and I also thought that Frank would do anything to protect the people he cared about, even if it wasn’t exactly the most moral option. As for Ellie, I thought that she deserved happiness, safety, and peace after all the horrors she had been through, and I was so glad she found that with Frank. She was such a good mom to her kids, and she always tried to protect her sister Alesia. This book had so many twists and turns that I wasn’t expecting, and I thought it was very well-written. I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves the second chance and/or single mom trope, or if you’re a fan of romantic suspense novels!
