I don't understand the hype.

On top of being rather slow, and centering around a main character I felt absolutely no sympathy for —
Spoilershe literally thought her dad was a pedophile and murderer, but continued working on a case for which he was the best possible suspect without telling any of her colleagues her compelling evidence out of some twisted personal loyalty her dad hadn't earned, therefore seeming to send them on wild goose chases and watching those supposed friends devastated by the fact they may never know what happened
— the resolution of this story was entirely unsatisfying to me.

The reveal was interesting. That's the only reason this story is getting 2 stars instead of 1. But the fact that
SpoilerCat's dad, who was literally involved in a human trafficking/suspected pedophilia ring, didn't get punished?? Didn't so much as get mentioned in the case despite everything he knew and supported and assisted?? Because he was nice to two girls who were also helping traffic babies?? I'm so fucking annoyed.
