Little Fires Everywhere, by Celeste Ng

3.5/5 stars.
I think I prefer the changes that the show made. It felt like the climax was so much more intense than the book. In general, the book had too much description for my tastes, and not even dialogue. Everything was just stated instead of shown, and the tone of the writing just didn't allow me to feel like I was a part of the action. I still like the story, and I think it brings up many important points regarding race, social classes, motherhood, etc. But I think I prefer the show over the book on this one.
