This might be my favorite Kel book! As a squire, Kel grows into her dreams as a fighter, leader, and friend. It's so nice to see it all unfold, knowing that it's the end of her journey to become a knight. There's just the new and unexpected challenges of actually *being* a knight in wartime left to come in the final book.
