Pies & Prejudice by Heather Vogel Frederick

So glad to be back in the world of The Mother-Daughter Book Club! I was pretty nervous when Emma and her family moved to England, but it turned out alright. My favorite character is Cassidy, and I adored her storyline!!!!! The book club read Pride and Prejudice this time around and I was excited to read the mini Pride and Prejudice storyline, that was woven in the book. It was fun to read all the romances with the girls and all the accomplishments that they achieved. These girls are such great role models and I wish to be as awesome as them (I may have said that already).

This book is great for Jane Austin lovers. There's some Jane Austen speak, and a lot of Jane Austin sites.

This installment was also really sad. SPOILER: My favorite Olympian passed away. It was heart breaking to read of this character's passing, after growing attached to her in the series. I cried. The Mother Daughter Book Club won't be the same.
