I enjoyed this, but god did Rae get on my nerves at times. She has no sense of self preservation and puts herself in danger multiple times. At one point one of the side characters even says that she's a hassle to keep alive. Even with her stupidity at times, I didn't hate her. I loved Leon, and I liked Rae and Leon's relationship, which made up for the parts of the story I found annoying. Just be prepared to have some general stupidity from Rae in addition to some hot spicy scenes. 

I was a little worried going into this that I wasn't going to enjoy it because of some of the kinks included, but I was pleasantly surprised. There is a good amount of consent present in each scene which I loved. I need more romance books to have more consent and safewords in them!!! 

This was a good time and a fast read, so I would recommend if you can handle the content. I'm assuming the next book is going to follow Juniper, and I would love to read that. She seems like she has more self preservation braincells, so I think most of my complaints from this book would be solved from her POV.
