Jasper is the new kid, transferring in from a rival school. He is a football star with a tragic past.
Jasper coming to town has a huge effect on Blakely. He ends up moving in next door with her best friend (parents dating situation). They have this undeniable attraction to each other. There is so much push and pull between these two. There are secrets to their past that effect the relationship that is building.
There is a great amount of angst to this story and terrific character development, especially for Blakely.
