Did not finish book. Stopped at 4%.

The premise of this book sounded amazing but I struggled to connect to the writing. The author spent a lot of time on description which I felt was taking away from grabbing my attention and drawing me into the book. I put it down and found I haven't had the desire to pick it back up in months.
