Unlike the previous book in the Edge Chronicles, this book is more of a true novel. Here we join Twig, who's been with his Dad for two years on an adventure to save Sanctaphrax from the greedy capitalists!
I don't remember these books being so gruesome when I was a kid. There's lots of death here, and in such a short book, its amazing how the authors make you care about the characters before they off them.
The worldbuilding continues to be great, but some of the character motivations don't hold up to adult scrutiny.
