Grimnirs by Ednah Walters
5.0
Oh my! Yes, yes, I know that's a strange way to begin a book review, but...oh my. Can I just say that I was totally not expecting that? Wow!
Grimnirs by Ednah Walters was insanely good. It was action-packed, it was comprehensive (even if it is labeled 2.5), and it was hot. This book had movement, chemistry, and layer after layer of world building. The primary characters were perfect. Cora and Echo had IT. You know the IT that makes you cheer, feel, or even clap your hands and feet.
Every aspect of this book was spit spot on, in my opinion. I loved the big question mark in the beginning and the perfectly-paced unraveling of the mystery by Cora and her fellow comrades. I loved that we got to see Raine and Torin and learn more about the dynamics associated with that storyline. I loved that we were introduced to other characters; I can only imagine what Walters will do with some of them. I loved what I call the Malina madness. And...drumroll, please. I LOVE Cora and Echo. Echo and Cora. Echo. Echo. Echo! Umm, you get it.
With all that I have said, my final word on this one is (hear me well!) GET THIS BOOK! Don't walk, please RUN to the nearest exit and make a beeline for Grimnirs. While you're at it, grab up books 1 and 2. You'll definitely thank me later.
Rating: 5/5
Recommend: Yes
Bookshelf Worthy: Yes
Special Note: This is listed as YA, but some scenes come close to the line and in fact cross the line over into NA. There is some heavy petting and parking (plus) that might be a bit much for some.
A complimentary copy of this title was made available to me by the author in exchange for an honest review. The words I have expressed (without giving any spoilers I might add) are indeed my own. I was not required in any way to write a positive review, nor was I compensated for my review.
