Bang by Lisa McMann

Visions book 2 delivered what book 1 failed to. Jules' relationships grew in depth, while we got to know her siblings Trey and Rowan so much better. Sawyer became the proverbial broken boy, whose swoon worthy love quips grabbed both Jules' and our attention and now we all love him. McMann brings friendship and loyalty to a whole new level, with four friends/family willing to put themselves on the line for each other regardless of the cost. Heroes are born not created and that is why Jules, Sawyer, and Trey act because they believe it is the only choice. The family rivalry pushed all the characters to adapt to a life beyond their parents stunted vision, building lives beyond hate and the pettiness of hating ones self for mistakes of the past.
