I loved this book! Will definitely be recommending this to friends.
Nitpicks:
- In the middle of the book, overreliance on miscommunication / non communication
- The two main characters kind of spun their wheels about the same problems over and over again. Realistic, but occasionally tiresome, even if the book is fast-paced
Glows:
- Beautifully written. Evocative language. I found myself highlighting so many random descriptions just so I can write them down later and admire them.
- Romance. I’m not really a romance girlie, but I found myself sweatin’
- Thought-provoking take on vampires. I’m still getting used to how they were employed in the book and, even if I’m not such a fan of that, I still appreciate how the function of vampires made me pause and reflect, and I’m still thinking about it.
It’s worth your time!!!
