The Heretic's Daughter by Kathleen Kent

4.0

Wow, I don't know what I was expecting when I started this book, but it wasn't what I recieved. The first half of this book was cold and heartless (though full of heart) and it left me feeling hollow. As soon as the mother gets arrested the story picked up and it was a downhill emotional spiral after! Wow. A beautifully moving story about family. I loved it, but will never read it again!
