The Cabin at the End of the World by Paul Tremblay

3.0

Finished it…reluctantly. This is not what I was expecting and I found it a very odd book. (Albeit, it’s the first of Tremblay’s books I’ve read so perhaps I should have been more prepared). It’ the book states of well…Wen, playing in the garden encountering stranger danger. Then it just gets weird. Very suspenseful for the first quarter of the book - I was constantly asking myself, ‘what the eff it’s going on?!’ But that suspense dragged on for too long and I just got fed up. Not terrible, not amazing…just weird.
