I was disappointed. I adored The Bodyguard, and I was so excited to read another book by this author.
The storytelling felt flat to me. A situation would be described, but it felt… like it wasn’t a big deal, I guess.
I didn’t like the patient/physical therapist relationship aspect. Maybe it’s because I work in healthcare, but I couldn’t get behind it. It felt icky.
The ending felt a little rushed, almost. A lot of things happened in a short amount of time.
Now I’m split. I really liked one book, and didn’t like another. Let’s see what happens.
