The pace of the book is fast. I found it very entertaining and couldn't put it down. You just keep reading because you want to know how it ends. I found it all a bit unrealistic, but it's fiction after all so I don't mind. I liked that the detective wasn't a divorced man with an alcohol problem, which was a refreshing change. I highly recommend it because it was genuinely thrilling—I can't say it enough. By the way, if you're into explosions, this is definitely THE book for you.
