The Book of Form and Emptiness by Ruth Ozeki

3.0

DNF at 353. I made it so far, but when I repeatedly get the urge to skim ahead, I know I’m no longer invested. It’s a shame. The writing is lovely and I highlighted so many wonderful passages, but there’s just too much all-over-the-place for me. Plus, I couldn’t connect with the characters that much. There was some really cool stuff with the different points of view. But overall, I feel about 200 pages could’ve been cut out to tighten it up. Maybe more plot too.
