be gay, do cult?? (alex)

The first half messed me uppppp. The cult behavior and the first person POV made it so immersive to a point that it twisted my mind a bit! I really enjoyed this, overall, the story was engrossing and I truly couldn't put it down. I enjoyed the homage to my home state as well as the reflection on belonging, community and sense of debt to the environment we pillage daily. Jamie was such a real character, and her journey of trust, betrayal, self-preservation and survival amid tough circumstances was ultimately comforting.
