A fitting end even if it all felt a little...boring? I think my problems come down to the pacing and structure. Tiamats Wrath had the same problem and, honestly, they should have been one book with a bunch of crap cut out.
Overall, from a series standpoint, this is still one of the best Sci fi epics out there. I'll miss these characters. I'll miss the stories. The universe. It was all great. While the last two books didn't necessarily wow me, they were still good installments and wrapped up everything in a way that at least didn't feel cheap.
