Ten Thousand Skies Above You by Claudia Gray

3.0

I read book one forever ago and remembered being very excited to read this one but I’m a little disappointed. From page one it felt off. Marguerite was very repetitive, she just constantly repeats this again and again to the point where I’m rolling my eyes thinking yes I get it. I also find myself annoyed with the destiny, true love, “my actions have no consequences” vibe. However, by the middle the book I was more drawn in and I felt like this were picking up. By the very end I appreciate that Marguerite learned a lesson and wants to do better. And those last two pages have me really considering reading book three.
