Really, really disappointed with this one. I was expecting something more suspenseful, but it literally starts by revealing what the people of the town do before you actually even meet any of them. I feel like we've been placed in this position where we know what's going to happen to these characters already, and I just don't dig that- I like uncovering things for myself in horror.
I also wasn't a fan of the art style. I bought the first issue with the really beautiful Mingjue Helen Chen cover, while the inside art was just very exaggerated and some of the art kinda made me feel uncomfortable because of how characters were drawn. I'm probably not going to carry on reading this, and I'm tempted to take the cover off and put it up on my wall, honestly. Just not very happy with this one!
