Laurie Frankel is one of my favourite authors and I'd somehow missed reading this novel. It's not my favourite story of hers, but it was still really good. I enjoyed how the "unreliable narrator" literature grad student Janey tried to apply the literary tropes etc to her own life, as she explored the meaning of love and chosen family
