The Owl Always Hunts at Night by Samuel Bjørk

4.0

The author sat down and wrote this book and knew he was going to devour.

I am not a huge fan of mysteries. They're fun in between books, but I wouldn't pick them over something else probably. I chose this book purely at random and I could not regret it less. I didn't realize when I first read it that it was a second book in a sort of series. I have not read the first one yet it made perfect sense. I felt like I should read the first one because it would help me understand the background of the main characters but it isn't necessary. It was so entertaining that I was in shock. I actually liked the characters and was genuinely invested in the storyline. It made me want to buy another book from this author/translator. I thought that I had known what the plot was going to be and then it just takes you on unexpected turns. I felt that the story was flushed out and well-written. Definitely a great story.

Would I recommend this book?
Hell yes.
