The Rose Code by Kate Quinn

4.0

A very good book and do highly recommend, especially for those interested in WW2.

Being a big fan of WW2 and especially Enigma and Bletchley Park, Was interested to see how Kate Quinn worked historical info into the book. Answer: very nicely done. Not over the top and didn't use actual people too much (just more by reference/background for most, except for Dilly Knox & Prince Philip) but it fitted really well into her work of fiction! :)

Only slight gripe (for me at least) was the book dragged on in the middle stages (could have been at least 100 pages less!) and then the ending was rushed.

BUT like I said, it was great, the main characters were well done and very likeable and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it!
