i don’t think extreme horror is for me. but as for the genre goes, this was 5/5. i know splatterpunk is known for being violent for the sake of it, but i appreciated the storyline here, and triana has a style that shows he puts a level thought and care into his stories that other authors in the genre don’t.
i did not like the way the disabled character was talked about (or asian women). one could make the argument that it’s simply how the characters would speak or think, which is true, but idk.
overall a cool idea but extreme horror isn’t my jam.
