Laced by Carol Higgins Clark

4.0

Typical Carol Higgins Clark. Highly entertaining, three stories woven into one. Jack and Regan Reilly are on their honeymoon, but of course, the NYPD detective and the private investigator, can't even do that quietly. The hotel at which they are staying is famous for a bit of lace woven by May Reilly (no relation) who is also rumored to haunt the hotel. The lace is stolen as a deliberate taunt to Jack but they are soon on the case. There is the side note of a couple who is trying to make big bucks off a painter and a whole host of other characters.
Just the sort of story you'd expect from the author. Highly enjoyable.
