I liked this series at the beginning. Then it took a strange turn in regards to paranormal, in my tastes anyway. This one opens up with Haven turned into an immortal, and she's too excited about it, like a ticking time bomb. She seems like a tyrant, the new enemy, and that's hard when she was Ever's best friend. Roman is still the true enemy, and Ever gets help in some strange places. Damon isn't present much in this one, and Jude has a much bigger role. I don't feel like this one was a very good addition. However, that could be the narrator. She had no real emotion, and her voice's inflection hardly ever matched the words she was speaking. She read the other books as well, and I don't remember it being this bad. I may or may not continue, but I might read the 5th one, and it will be a while, that's for sure.
