I am sure it's just me, and it's odd as I usually really love this author's books, but it took me a while to warm up to Viktor...and I am not even all that sure why. Although, that said, I am glad I didn't give up on this one as I ended up really enjoying it.
Scarlett, however, is one of my all time favorite Raine Miller heroines. She was compelling, and interesting, and I really liked her from the beginning, so I definitely saw why he was attracted to her. And, this really helped me get past struggling to connect with him.
I liked them together, I liked the way they interacted, I liked how he was with her and how he respected her not only as someone he was involved with but also for who she was and wanted to be.
I enjoyed and recommend this title.
