Populism and (Pop) Music by Enrico Padoan, Manuela Caiani

informative inspiring medium-paced

3.5

Read this book as research for a university case study assignment and did not expect to find it as interesting as I did. Instead of the neutral opinion I was prepared to have, I found the topic of this book deeply fascinating, and was captivated by the many enlightening links it could draw between music/popular culture, politics and society.
I had sort of an epiphany moment with this, not gonna lie. Hopefully a canon event for a prospective career in academics.
