very cute and charming, but i feel like it may be relying a bit much on Quirky Modern Internet Humor a la meme references. which, to be fair, is how i talked when i was 12-16, so i could, maybe, suspend my disbelief that a real, very lonely, and perhaps chronically online 16 year old girl would talk like this. but it felt a little unnatural here? it felt a little bit 'how do you do, fellow kids?' on the authors' accounts and i'm hoping the full length graphic novel will better incorporate or else cut back on this style of humor.

i do plan on checking out the full length graphic novel after reading this!
