Bryson City Tales: Stories of a Doctor's First Year of Practice in the Smoky Mountains by Walt Larimore MD

4.0

This is one of those sweet books. I would have thought he was an old guy reminicing about things but then I looked at the picture and he is not old. I liked the spirituality of the book. Also the old time remedies that they used were interesting. It gives an idea of small town life and how it can be light years from city living, and not just in miles. It takes a special person to adapt to life in Bryson City. I look forward to reading his other books.
