I don't really know what to say about this book other than that it's Murakami's typical magical realism made into a wonderful book. As a warning there's a decent amount of sex, and some weird sex at that.
Spoiler Tengo constantly remembers some man sucking on his mother's breasts, Fuka-Eri (or possibly her dohta?) had sex with her father when she was ten, Tengo has sex with seventeen year-old Fuka-Eri who then becomes a magical portal through which Aomame becomes pregnant, Aomamae gets up to all sorts of escapades with her friend and the men they pick-up.
So it's an awkward book to read in public at times, especially if you're around people who have the tendency to read over your shoulder. But, the plot was great and I even loved the ending, which I was wondering how he was going to wrap up.
