I Cheerfully Refuse by Leif Enger

Did not finish book. Stopped at 22%.

I cant make head nor tails of this book. The MC was supposedly illiterate or at least not well educated, yet he uses words and sentence structures that hare hard to grasp on the first read. I had to reread paragraphs multiple times to understand. The world also feels very flat and uninteresting. Judging by other reviews this is going to be quite a drag and I don't have time for that.
