Proper Scoundrels by Allie Therin

4.0

I’m really shocked with how much I enjoyed this and his quickly the characters grew on me. I didn’t care all too much about the conflict, but I did appreciate the magic and fantasy elements to it and can’t wait to read more of this series.
Fine and Sebastian had me swooning for all of their interactions and I love them so much!
The only downside for this novel would have to be the “insta-love” vibe it gave off. I actually enjoy insta-love, but find that most of the time if it has a level of sexual tension that drives it, then we need to see it on page since it’s important to the character’s development and is a big part of their connection with each other.
There isn’t any explicit spice, but it’s not fade to black every time either. It happened to be more telling and not showing which hindered the character’s inevitable connection and relationship.
Regardless it’s such a good story and I loved it.
