I thought I’d be annoyed at reading a novella centered around Lift, as she can be quite a nuisance and a bit extra, but instead I quite liked this as she grows on you. I also really liked reading more about Darkness (I was so fascinated by his itty bitty bit in Words of Radiance) and Wyndle made me laugh, too.
