Hallmark romcom movie for mentally ill, horny, pretentious people.
The prose was beautiful but excessive at times. There were moments where the language of the characters sounded more like spoken word poetry and as beautiful as it is it didn’t make it feel as real and made me feel a bit detached with them.
Character wise, I loved Aldo and found myself in parts of him. With Regan, I’m more empathetic towards. I feel like there’s definitely such a real representation with her in regards to being bipolar but also just being a girl in her 20s who feels lost and misunderstood and feeling everything all at once. Though miss girl was reaching for Fleabag and ultimately gave spoiled, rich kid who makes her own problems while the whole world suffers and that really annoyed me and made dislike her character a bit.
