I've read almost all of HM's books and this one seemed almost like he had to write it and just for cash. Between "A Wind Up Bird's Chronicle" and his short stories nothing compares. Now the popular market is cashing in on him regardless of if his work is great. I wasn't DNFing at this time but now that I do, I should have.
