Atone by Cassandra Robbins

I don't feel comfortable rating this book. I am an avid dark romance reader and have read a lot darker books than this, and I've never been triggered by a book before. I don't know if that's what happened here, but some parts of this were extremely uncomfortable to read due to my own life and experiences. David's actions, especially towards the end, made this completely unenjoyable for me. This is all completely personal preference which is why I'm not leaving a bad review. The writing was still well done, and the MC's had great chemistry. I just shouldn't have read this.
