The World of PostSecret by Frank Warren

2.0

I liked the idea of the book, but it was kind of strange in application. Basically, this dude has a ton of people send him secrets on post cards. Super cool idea! I probably would have enjoyed this book better if it was either organized by the kinds of secrets or just had a general theme of secrets. For instance, you’d read a really sad and deep secret that just makes you think (such as a picture of a casket of a fallen soldier with the caption “I wish I could have died instead of him”) is followed by a secret about adultery as a joke on the exact same page. Kind of defeats the purpose of the beautiful secrets. Anyway, cool idea, but not ab amazing execution.
