I really wanted this to be as good as the Spanish Love Deception but it just fell short.  I think if I had read this first, I might have rated it a little higher but knowing Elena Armas’ potential, I just can’t.  Lucas as a lead is great but he’s no Aaron.  I hate, seriously hate, calling female characters annoying but Rosie definitely fits that bill.   Lots of smaller side plots in this book felt short and a little unfinished, especially the plot with her brother.  The ending felt rushed and like it was kind of shoehorned in.  The setting of the city also just didn’t give the same romantic hot and heavy vibes as Spain did.  There were still many very cute and touching moments in this book and Lucas was certainly a great book boyfriend.  I think I was just expecting a little more and didn’t get it
