+ I liked the idea behind the villain/conflict. It felt refreshing instead of going the route of “just another ghost story”.
- A lot of the reveal just felt like info-dumping. I suppose it made sense for the story, but I wasn’t fond of how it was all explained at once.
-Theromance with Francis at the end felt forced? I don’t feel like she liked him enough throughout the novel to justify her immediate acceptance of them having a future together. Overall wasn’t a huge fan of the ending.
