The Lies of Locke Lamora by Scott Lynch

4.0

(4.5/5) Rich in descriptions, characters, and flair, an incredible first entry into a series. The only reason this doesn’t stand at a 5/5 is the exceptionally slow start and interspersing the present narrative with the past. A chronological narrative would have been better for establishing the main characters and their motives.
