Three Daughters of Eve by Elif Shafak

2.0

Elif Shafak is one of my favorite authors but this book for me was a big disappointing. The book is very heavy on spiritualism and difficult to read especially the parts of Professor Azur. I kept waiting for that big turn or twist to come and found the book extremely predictable. The problem is with Peri the central character too much emphasis on her and while I get it she is a confused soul it just gets on your nerves. The after effects of the scandal especially on Mona another important character are not explained. It was difficult to finish this book personally I wouldn't recommend reading this if you're a true Shafak fan as it will only lead to disappointment.
