i loved the prequel to this series, the assassins blade because it was so action packed. i enjoyed this book as well but didn’t love it as much bc it was a lot of celeana sitting around the castle. i think this is still a great set up for the series but i just would have liked to have a bit more going on.
i’m excited to continue my reread to see how the rest of the series holds up to my first read.
