This book — the characters and storyline — is completely underwhelming. Written in the format of a diary entry, which I really didn't mind because I loved others with the same style, doesn't exactly quite help.
I couldn't connect with any of the characters and the two male leads, I have to say, are complete and utter idiots. Cabe pointing out everything that is wrong with Tyler and Dwayne's relationship seemed ironical to me because that's what Cabe did to Tyler.
On the other hand, I found the mother to be very overbearing and unnecessarily hysterical and quite frankly cuckoo in the head.
Tyler could learn something from Lillian, one of her bosses, to take a stand and actually speak her mind rather than write it in a diary.
Overall, totally underwhelming and quite boring.
