Anya's Ghost by Vera Brosgol

5.0

When you find a book that Neil Gaiman is quoted on the cover as calling a "Masterpiece", you read that book. This one has been on my list for a while, and I wish I hadn't waited so long. It's a quick read, with appealing art, and an easy to follow story line that manages to cover a lot of ground. This is a book about Anya, who is trying to fit in as an outsider, and who finds a ghost, who turns everything she knows upside down, shakes her to her bones and cannot leave her the same. Gaiman has never steered me wrong, and this is just further proof of his good taste, and my good luck in finding such a wonderful book.
