Change of Heart by Jennifer Moore

3.0

This is one of those fun, cute, clean romances that are a guilty pleasure. The characters are enjoyable and the location is interesting. This book takes place in Maine where a girl from the Hollers in West Virginia is seeking a job in an art gallery after just finishing her degree. She's very intelligent and knowledgeable about art, but she dresses immodestly and doesn't have any sense of upper crust society.

On her way to her big job interview, she sees a little boy dart out in front of a trolley and she saves his life. The handsome father (a rich attorney from Boston) who has just lost his wife is so grateful and offers her a job as a nanny when it looks like her dream job will fall through. At first she is hesitant, but she immediately connects with the kids, and the dad, Nicholas, promises to get her a job at a prestigious art gallery in Boston so she can then apply for a dream internship in Paris. As the two get to know each other, they begin falling in love, but can a girl from the Hollers fit into the rich upper class of Boston when the family returns from their vacation?
